**Description**:
YC Lab, one of the fastest-growing full-service labs in Edmonton AB, is looking for a Ceramist to join our team. You'll improve teeth for aesthetic reasons, and work to the prescription of a dentist to make bridges, crowns, and dentures. If you are an experienced dental ceramist looking for a great working environment, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Construct or repair dental devices including crowns, bridges, inlays, implants and implant abutments.
- Diagnostic wax-ups.
- Cast gold or metal alloys for crowns, inlays, bridges.
- Builds up all types of ceramic cases including large bridges, implant cases, all ceramic crowns, inlays, inlays, and veneers
- Completes build ups, contours to specifications of all types of light cured restorations
- Assessing and adjusting for accurate fit of crown & bridge dental prosthesis on a model, including contact, margins, and contour
- Must be able to restore from a single unit to full mouth reconstruction
- Stain and glaze of all types of restorations

**Qualifications**:

- Must be living in/ ready to start work in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
- CDT/RDT license preferred but not required
- 2 - 4 years experience designing restorations, CAD design experience preferred
- Must be able to read and understand dentist prescriptions
- Must have a thorough understanding of dental anatomy
- Must be well organized
- Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner
- Keep up with the fast-paced operation and excellent time management skills
- Good hand eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Complete knowledge in occlusion and functions
- Must have a thorough understanding of porcelain pressing technology, crown morphology, and crown and bridge case design

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
