**Project Manager with PMO experience **with our client

**permanent opportunity**.

**Role Description**:
The Project Manager I manages the entire lifecycle of a small project or phases of a larger project which include developing a project plan, coordinating the activities of a project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.

The PM role is intended to be filled by someone who can “speak the language” of project management and understand what it means to be part of a PMO, supporting the project management community and yet ensuring that the mandate of what PMO is driving, is fulfilled.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares project plans. Monitors scope, schedule, budget and other key aspects to ensure successful project delivery.
- Completes project status reports on a biweekly basis.
- Works with project stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Manages expectations and fosters excellent communication in a collaborative environment.
- Works with the project and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Establishes a sustainable mechanism for the collection of any requirements and data; engages with departments to ensure that outcomes will meet their needs.
- Writes formal reports, including status reports and formal documentation.

- Works with stakeholders to enable buy-ins for the project outcomes as required.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of PM exp working in the PMO environment developing standard and processes, overseeing project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, issues and risks logs, establishing metrics
- Excellent interpersonal & team skills.

**Nice-to-have**:

- Experience in project management tools (SharePoint, Smartsheet, JIRA & Confluence)
