**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items primarily on sauté station with handling of proteins, vegetables and pastas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, allergens and preparation methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Help in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations before and after service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required, at least 1 year working as a Sauté Cook or similar role.
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail in plating and presentation.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
