Veoneer Safety Systems, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as **an Assembler/Inspector.
**What you’ll do**
- Operate production line equipment.
- Investigate abnormal product and process conditions along with line stoppage issues.
- Perform equipment change-overs.
- Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety guidelines.
- Load and maintain raw material supply for the production line.
- Complete daily production logs.
- Communicate with operators within and across other shifts.
- 5S - Clean and maintain work area and complete total productive maintenance (TPM).
- Respond to equipment alarms during start/stop conditions.
- Record and input production data into computer work stations.
- Collaborate and work effectively within a team.
- Identify problem solving opportunities and provide suggestions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you’ll bring**
- Ability to understand written instructions and all visual aids.
- Ability to understand abnormal conditions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Quick learner and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Must have strong attention to detail, a quality conscious mindset and a zero defects attitude.
- Previous experience in electronic and mechanical assembly is an asset.
