Fuel, Lube

We are a locally owned road & street construction and paving contractor seeking a fuel, lube and service person to join our team.

This position will consist of field work (**out of town work is common**) from May through October and will consist of shop work from November through April. Field work will involve extensive overtime (13 - 15 hour days) while shop work will be confined to 40 hour work weeks (4x 10 hour days).

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Fueling of equipment on site.
- Daily service and maintenance on equipment (greasing, changing teeth on loader buckets, oil changes on pickup trucks and equipment, etc.)
- Minor repairs on equipment in the shop and in the field.
- Operate other heavy equipment (training provided) and construction related duties as required.

Requirements/Experience:

- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Strong focus on safety and must use Personal Protective Equipment.
- Having own tools is an asset but not mandatory.
- Minimum clean Class 5 license.
- **Must be able to work overtime and out of town May through November. During these months we do not have a set schedule but are able to work up to 24 days in a 28 day period.**:

- Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor setting which can include: inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
