**Bainbridge Liquor Store Manager**

As a Store Manager, with the support of our head office team, you will oversee the operations of the store, train and develop your team, and assist in curating an unparalleled selection of wine, beer and spirits.
- You’ll find us located at the corner of Bainbridge and Lougheed, a 10 minute walk from the Sperling Skytrain Station.

**Type**
- Start Date: TBD Hours: Full-time
- Salary/Yearly: $55 000-$65 000

**Position Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the location and its team in accordance with all company policies.
- Ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for both the team and our customers.
- Foster a positive, highly motivated, rewarding and supportive work environment through active leadership.
- Provide ongoing support, training and team member development.
- Personnel Management including scheduling, hiring, onboarding and training.
- Ensure store appearance, merchandising and product presentation meets company standards.
- Ensure proper inventory management, rotation, ordering, receiving and loss prevention.
- Ensure adherence with all regulatory bodies including BCLDB, WorkSafe & Employment Standards.

**To be eligible, applicants must meet the following qualification requirements**:

- Energetic, dynamic and outgoing personality.
- 2 years management experience.
- 4 years of experience in retail or food and beverage.
- Strong knowledge of wine, beer and spirits.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Be at least 19 years of age.
- A valid Serving it Right Certificate.
- Are able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be flexible and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC V5A 2S9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 2 years (required)
- Retail or Food & Beverage: 4 years (preferred)
