Funeral Director

**Duties**:

- Meet with families for funeral arrangements and provide guidance and support
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including arranging transportation, scheduling the service, conducting funeral arrangements with families.
- Assist with the selection and purchase of caskets and other funeral merchandise
- Arrange for clergy or other officiants to conduct funeral services
- Coordinate with cemetery staff for burial or interment of remains
- Coordinate interment service at cemetery
- Provide grief counselling and support to family members as needed
- NO EMBALMING OR PREPARATION OF DECEASED

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with grieving families
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and details involved in funeral arrangements
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in paperwork and arrangements
- Empathy and sensitivity to provide emotional support to grieving individuals
- Basic computer know how
