**_Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor - Evening Live-in Treatment Program, or Clinical Supervisor of Crossroads Centre, the Addiction Worker is responsible for assisting in the delivery of treatment services for clients of Adult Addiction & Problem Gambling Programs. Key responsibilities include: providing information and direct enquiries for services, supporting and monitoring clients through entry and engagement in the continuum of treatment services, (pre, post, live-in treatment and aftercare supports) the facilitation of group activities, and ensuring the maintenance of security and upkeep of the facility and program resources. _**
**_Qualifications:_**
**_Education/Experience: _**
- **_Minimum of a two-year Diploma in Social Services or Addictions field_**:
- **_Minimum of one year experience working with Adult Addiction clients in a congregate setting or community-based programs_**
**_ _**
**_Skills/Abilities:_**
- **_Working knowledge of addiction issues, crisis management and conflict resolution skills_**:
- **_Well-developed written and oral communication skills and excellent time management skills_**:
- **_Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team_**:
- **_Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills_**:
- **_Thorough understanding of all aspects of substance abuse and/or problem gambling_**:
- **_Demonstrated regular attendance at work_**

**_Knowledge of working with DBT, CBT framework is an asset_**
