Landscape Labourer is responsible for a variety of physical job tasks to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects. Job responsibilities also include utilizing various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to carry out specified job duties.

Must be physically fit and capable of working in a variety of outdoor work conditions.

**Job Duties**:

- Various duties depending on job site and daily tasks required
- Loading and Unloading of small tools and equipment
- Completing Tasks in a timely manner
- Hardscape and softscape landscape construction
- Plant trees, shrubs, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
- Cart and spread topsoil and other required materials
- Lay sod or seed; grading (soil); and tree staking
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
- Perform lawn maintenance using lawn mowers, tractor mowers, trimmers
- Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies and manual lifting
- Conduct daily safety inspections of tools and equipment
- Helping to keep workplace neat and tidy including site clean up, trucks/trailers or shop
- Follow directions from foreman
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Competent in the use of power tools (quick cut saws, chain saws, plate tampers, power wheel barrows, skills saws, sod cutter, sprayer or duster, rototiller, drills, etc.)
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Speak, read, and write English

**Work Conditions**:

- Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Requires good manual dexterity
- Excellent stamina is required
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Must have flexibility in working hours including occasional weekend work due to weather and job schedules

Work Remotely

**Salary**: $14.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- class 5 drivers (preferred)
