**Shipping Leadhand**:
The Shipping Leadhand is a full-time position responsible for performing shipping tasks including picking and assembling cases, scanning orders, loading/unloading trucks, temperature checks and organizing product, all while running the shift with mínimal supervision.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES***:

- Contributes to a healthy work environment, while maintaining high food safety and health and safety standards
- Oversees and directs the daily work of shift
- Responsible for daily safety, onsite inspection
- Coordinate receiving, order picking and truck/trailer movements
- Responsible for executing SAP transactions (EWM and ECC) around product availability, STO’s entry and completion of all other tasks associated with shipping activities
- Provide required operational information to supervisor
- Ensure CHEP availability in the warehouse
- Monitor fuel levels and reefers operation for all trailers on site
- Takes action to correct any issues and to make improvements
- Other responsibilities as required

**WHAT DOING A GOOD JOB LOOKS LIKE**:

- Directly helps the dept to meet targets while maintaining a healthy & safe environment, ensures that GMP’s and SOP’s are followed
- Maintains productivity that meets/exceeds standards
- Appropriate communication to Supervisor when identifying issues
- Awareness and sense of urgency regarding date-sensitive products
- Understanding of internal process including returns and auger as well as major accounts
- Dedicated to ensuring all orders for customers are met
- Contributes to the team and the whole facility in a positive way

**REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITY & EXPERIENCE**:

- Ability to communicate with other employees, supervisors, leadhands, external customers, drivers
- Punctual, reliable and responsible. Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team members
- Ability to follow and execute directions while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Speak and read English fluently
- Must be competent with safe operation of pallet trucks. (Will train to certify)
- Strong computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
- Familiarity with SAP (RF Scanners) preferred. Achieving full competence is essential.
- Familiarity with product codes preferred. Achieving full competence is essential.
- Ability to perform continuous, repetitive lifting of full cartons of product (up to approx. 75 lbs)
