Our Front Desk Agents are very often the very first employee our guests meet. They play a critical role in ensuring our customers are happy and have an exceptional customer experience. You may think it's only about checking guests in and out, but it's much more than that You are the central hub of knowing what is going on around the resort, sharing information and ensuring guests get what they need, when they need it. And, you can't do this alone. You will work closely with your team members, supervisor and other departments. Collaboration, teamwork and communication is key And here's what else: KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE - Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills to complete reports and share information - Fluency in a second language will be considered an asset. - Ability to deliver services in a fast-paced environment (during busy season) and remain calm under pressure - Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, assess situations, make decisions and determine best course of action to ensure customer is walks away happy - Positive, friendly and professional manner is required during all interactions with guests and team members. - Check-in and check-out resort guests and condo unit owners in a timely, friendly, courteous manner to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. - Self - motivating, well organized with attention to detail - Ability to multi task and prioritize work environment - Ability to work under pressure EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills) - Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Resort Management is an asset; - Experience in Guest Services is preferred; - Positive and dynamic personality; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. - 90% Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
