Community Services for Independence North West (CSINW) is a nonprofit, charitable organization serving persons with physical disabilities and seniors in Northwestern Ontario. We are a community-based, consumer driven and directed organization.

**Our mandate** - To provide quality services, which empower all persons with physical disabilities, to live safely and independently in the community.

- To provide services which allow persons with a disability the freedom to make independent choices about their lifestyle.

**LOCATION**: Kenora, ON

**PROGRAM**: Kenora Supportive Housing & Outreach

CSINW is looking for a reliable, energetic, honest, and trustworthy individual to be a part of our Team in KENORA, as an ATTENDANT WORKER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT in our Kenora Supportive Housing & Outreach Programs. Applicants will assist persons with a physical disability in their own home/community with activities of daily living such as; personal care, transferring, homemaking, meal prep, etc.

Approx. 10-15 hrs per week; mornings evenings and weekends. Potential of more hours with more individuals. Male applicants are encouraged to apply.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Prefer some experience working with persons with disabilities;
- PA/PSW certificate an asset;
- Valid First Aid certificate;
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC);
- good verbal and written communication skills;
- patience and understanding;
- Own transportation is required.
