**Location**: Terroni Sud Forno - Yonge and Temperance, Toronto
**Position**:BOH Supervisor
Sud Forno located at 132 Yonge Street, at the corner of Yonge and Temperance, has an immediate opening for a BOH Supervisor to oversee the Main floor (Cafeteria) BOH aspect of the restaurant.
This is a full-time position from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, 5 days a week.
This is a unique location with a bakery, take-out, and full-service restaurant all in one. Our main floor is an Italian cafeteria-style for “grab & go” or enjoy in-house, while our second floor is an intimate and elegant dining space.
**Responsibilities**:
- Liaising with the Chef in training all main floor BOH staff members
- Monitoring the food portions on dishes according to restaurant standards
- Collaborating with FOH Cafeteria supervisor in the layout of items at the servery
- Ensuring that all orders are completed in time and with the correct priority
- Inspecting the cleanliness, presentation, and temperature of completed dishes
- Keeping the cooking, storage, and prep areas clean, neat, and well-stocked
- Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety standards
- Handling customer complaints on behalf of the kitchen staff and looking for solutions
**Must have**:
- Food Handler Certificate
- BOH kitchen experience
- Good communication skills
- Able to lead a team in a positive manner
