EnQuest Energy Solutions is hiring for the position of Test Stand Operator. The Test Stand Operator is required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair, maintenance and testing of oil and gas service equipment.

**Primary functions & responsibilities**
- Operate and Test Well Service Equipment.
- Follow and continuously improve testing and safety procedures.
- Repair and adjust hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and any other necessary mechanical components.
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
- Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts (often to within a fraction of a millimeter tolerance).
- Perform predictive and operational maintenance by repairing or replacing defective parts when necessary.
- Service and repair hydraulic, pneumatic and programmable logic controls.
- Diagnose defects in equipment.
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop.
- Installation of new and added-on equipment.
- Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Repair cooling, and lubrication systems.
- Repair cable-operated working attachments, winches, compressors, pumps, electric generators, etc.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
- Other mechanical repair work as required.

**Qualifications**
- Proven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnostics.
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
- Experience operating and testing well service equipment an asset.
- Class 1 Drivers License an asset.
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
