**The Opportunity**:
The City of Red Deer is currently recruiting for a **Mail & Print Services Clerk**. The Mail & Print Services Clerk provides timely and accurate collection and delivery of all inter-department mail and incoming external mail, including sensitive payment items such as cheques, money orders and cash. Provides timely and accurate processing of all out-going mail from single letters to large mass mail outs, courier parcels and registered mail. They will consult on, process and perform print requests, including specialized finishing options for all City departments and associated agencies.
- Grade 12
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a mail/ print room operation that utilizes digital, high volume print room equipment connected to a computer network.
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy.
- Must be able to work under tight timelines and high stress situations.
- Mechanical aptitude in order to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize jobs in order to meet customer deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department and agency staff.
- Ability to exert moderate physical effort and work in standing or bending positions for considerable periods of time.

**Remuneration**:
$25.25 to $26.74 per hour
**Hours of Work**:
30 hours per week; scheduled hours will be between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday.
**Additional Information**:
The term of this position is anticipated to be 12 months.
