**ABOUT YOUR POTENTIAL NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting directly to their Team-Lead, the Mechanical Assembler ensures BellatRx remains a world leader in packaging equipment by meeting quality standards within the prescribed timelines and by promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the production department. The mechanical assembler is responsible assembling, testing and troubleshooting of Bellatrx packaging equipment. The mechanical assembler may also have the opportunity to follow the packaging equipment to the end user and facilitate that we successfully install and commission the packaging equipment sold to the end-user. The mechanical assembler will work in conjunction with other departments such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation packaging, QC, and testing.

**HERE ARE WHAT YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE IF YOU JOINED THE TEAM**:

- Understand and interpret the assembly/parts mechanical drawings and pneumatic diagrams;
- Perform mechanical assembly according to drawings, company quality standards and supervisor instructions;
- Perform various tasks related to preparation for assembly, drilling, cutting etc.;
- Troubleshoot equipment, identify and fix problems
- Test equipment to make sure it performs according to specifications.
- Evaluate machine functioning and propose improvements as required.
- Set-up and disassemble trade show displays at convention centres
- Maintain the equipment and/or tools used in the work area;
- Perform duties related to special project as required

**COULD YOU BE OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE? HERE’S A GLIMPSE OF WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Good working knowledge of French or English, bilingualism an asset
- DEP in Mechanics is preferred or equivalent experience is considered; Mechanical and electrical aptitudes are necessary
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Assembler
- Have a toolbox
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Basic knowledge of the principle of tolerances and geometrical dimensions.
- Experience in assembly and/or repair of industrial equipment
- Meticulous and detail oriented
- Able to work with little guidance alone as well as in a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Shows initiative and drive and willing to learn and grow with the company
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical line packaging or related equipment (asset)
- Good knowledge of MS Office is an asset

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 7h30 to 16h00
