**COMMERCIAL INSURANCE ADVISOR, SMALL BUSINESS**

Acera is looking for an ambitious, engaging, and experienced _Client Advisor_ to join our Commercial Client Care team. As our _Client Advisor_, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and growing a book of small business of accounts ranging from $500 - $5,000 in premium.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Manage a book of business mainly focused on non-profits, consultants and technology
- Proactively grow the technology book of business;
- Form relationships within the technology industry;
- Manage the renewal process;
- Participate in the claims process;
- Assist in collecting accounts receivables;
- Participate in up-sell and cross-sell initiatives to grow business;
- Works effectively and efficiently in our Broker Management System.
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards using our core values as the foundation of

- Attend industry networking events, such as VIATEC events;
- All other duties as directed by management.

**LOCATION AND STATUS**:
Victoria, BC

Permanent, full-time employment (35 hrs/week)

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm, In-Office

Salary Range $50,000 - $70,000

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- CAIB, CIP designation or on an education plan;
- Minimum Level 2 license required;
- Minimum 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience required;
