**Reporting to**:Engineering Resource Manager

**Your role in the mission**:
Type One Energy is seeking a CAD/PLM Administrator to manage and support our Siemens NX and Teamcenter (TC) environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining system configurations, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and enabling smooth collaboration across the design office.

You will work closely with engineers and designers, providing support and developing tools, templates, and workflows that improve productivity and quality. This position is critical to ensuring that our design systems operate reliably and efficiently, supporting innovation and delivery of complex engineering projects.

**System & License Management**
- Maintain and administer Siemens NX and Teamcenter licensing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Configure and manage CAD/PLM environments, ensuring stability and performance.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and integration with IT infrastructure.

**User Support & Training**
- Provide frontline support for CAD and PLM users, troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, user guides, and best practices.

**Standards & Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with internal CAD/PLM policies and procedures.
- Maintain CAD templates, design standards, drafting rules, and libraries.
- Support enforcement of data management, revision control, and approval processes.

**Tools & Process Improvement**
- Maintain and improve tools, scripts, and utilities that enhance design productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in CAD/PLM practices.

**What you’ll need**:

- Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a CAD Administrator or power user in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/PLM environments, licensing management, and configuration.
- Familiarity with CAD standards, drafting practices, and data management principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Capable of completing fundamental CAD modeling and drafting assignments

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with scripting/automation (NX Open, Python, VB, etc.).
- Knowledge of integrations between CAD, PLM, and downstream systems (CAE, CAM, ERP).
- Background in mechanical design or product development environment
