This role is part of a team who will collaborate on a variety of projects, events and similar tasks related to media.

**Canada eSchool, the online school for Columbia **International College (CIC** **) is currently looking for an **Ontario Certified Teacher **to join our Academic teaching team to deliver two online live synchronous teaching classes in the evening.

The courses will begin mid to late August and run until Mid-December (dates TBD).

**Classes are taught Sunday through Thursday**:
August to November 1st Sunday to Thursday at:
9:00 pm to 10:20 pm (EST)

10:30 pm to 11:45 pm (EST)

November 1st to mid-December (date TBD)

8:00 pm to 9:20 pm (EST)

9:30 pm to 10:45 pm (EST)

English

History

Math

Science

**Courses will be taught live on Zoom.**

**Academic Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Being prepared for daily teaching assignment.
- Preparing daily lesson plans in such a way that orderly development and progress is promoted.
- Creating daily lessons that allow for student engagement.
- Providing students with the opportunity to complete appropriate labs while ensuring safety.
- Adopting the three levels of educational planning:

- Long range planning
- Unit planning
- Daily lesson planning
- Conducting classes and instructing pupils in accordance with provincial and school curricular guidelines and policies.
- Undertaking systematic, objective and continuous evaluation of the progress being made by each student, in accordance with the most recent Ministry guidelines.
- Keeping accurate and systematic records of student achievement for this purpose, and issuing reports to students and parents according to provincial and school guidelines.
- Co-operating with school administrative personnel and colleagues in fostering harmonious staff relations, and acting as an enthusiastic member of the school's educational team.

**Must Have**:

- Academic degree in Subject areas described above, Bachelor of Education (preferred) or equivalent.
- Ontario College of Teachers or pending OCT preferred.
