**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an **Animal Care Coordinator **to join the InVivo team on our **Boisbriand site**.

The InVivo department is responsible for ensuring both animal welfare and the integrity of our preclinical studies, which primarily involve medical devices.

**What you will be working on?**
The role of the Animal Care Coordinator is to collaborate with the entire team on all aspects of the animals assigned to colonies and studies. They will coordinate activities in the vivarium and ensure they run smoothly and according to the study plan or procedures in place. They will act as a resource person for the team members and manage unforeseen scheduling issues.
**What kind of person are we looking for?**
We are looking for an animal lover who holds a DEC in Animal Health or 3 years experience in a research centre that offers preclinical services (CRO).

**About Safety Assessment**
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
