**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Logistics Manager, the Stores Clerk assists in the organization, coordination and control and delivery of inventories and supplies in support of health care services throughout Western Nova Scotia. Duties may occasionally include distribution of supplies to other sites in Western Nova Scotia.
The Stores Clerk ensures that the principles and practices that guide our work such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviours, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver
**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- High School Diploma - Grade 12 or equivalent required
- One (1) year experience or training in an automated Supply Chain Service preferred
- A valid class 5 driver’s license with a satisfactory clean driving abstract
- Ability to operate a 24 foot supply truck
- Typing and computer skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of Supply Chain Service in the delivery of patient care and understanding of how errors may affect medical treatment and cause financial loss
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated planning, organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Demonstrated initiative; self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to use good judgment in making decisions
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of staff and patients
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Accountability and responsibility for own actions
- Ability to hold in confidence all matters pertaining to patients, employees and the business of the organization
- Commitment to promoting a culture that supports safety, ethical practice and organizational health
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$19.20 - $21.25 Hourly
