Brampton, Canada SHW PUMPS & ENGINE COMPONENTS INC. Full time

Primary interface and point of contact between the Company and Customer for manufacturing programs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with an interdisciplinary program team.
- Track and follow up on all open issues.
- Handles any changes related to the manufacturing programs such as customer engineering changes, supplier requested changes to a component or mfg. process, internal mfg. process changes, etc.
- Prepare and lead quote activities for responsible programs.
- Establishes program timelines and ensures that customer and internal milestones are met.
- Lead local and global APQP meetings within the organization but also with the customer; assist and solve technical issues as they arise.
- Assist Program Managers in other regions if the program is a global program.
- Establish SOR for manufacturing process equipment and leads RFQ process.
- Travel to customer locations for presentations and program meetings as required.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations of SHW.
- Any other reasonable request made by Management.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 7 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II.
- Must have worked a minimum of 2 years in a previous program manager position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and /or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9002 or TS 16949 ability to write procedures and work instructions.
- Experience with electro-hydraulic products would be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills dealing with Customers & Suppliers both internal & external.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experienced with MS Office and Project software.
- German language knowledge would be an asset.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule if required.
