**Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that promote the health and safety of our clients. Your duties will include:

- Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients for any changes in condition.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, including housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Supporting clients with hospice care or end-of-life services when required.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documenting care provided and reporting any concerns or changes in client status.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or assisting clients as needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
