Viscor is currently looking for a CNC Punch Press Setup Operator with AMADA Experience (preferred) for its Day Shift.

(Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm)

JOB DUTIES
- **Set up **and **Operate **CNC Amada or Other Punch/Turret Presses for sheet metal manufacturing
- Give instruction as required to support and assist other machine operators
- Blueprint reading
- Measuring of parts
- Interpreting precise measuring instruments
- Follow quality control procedures
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
- Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Document work completed
- Clean and lubricate equipment
- Support and Assist other machine operators as required
- All other duties as may be assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Min. 3 years CNC punch press set up experience (Amada preferred)
- Brake Press Set Up experience an asset
- Blueprint reading
- Machine set up and operation
- Experience with precise measuring instruments along with imperial measuring tape
- Must have Punch Press operation experience
- Sheet Metal fabrication experience is required
- Safety conscious
- Fluent in English

Location: 35 Oak Street, North York (Hwy 401 & Weston Road) - TTC accessible
