You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety in our café environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork.

**Skills**
- Previous barista experience is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in the food industry is an asset, including knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
