**Responsibilities**:

- Read plans, blueprints, job orders, and drawings to accurately plan building and repair projects
- Cut and shape construction materials to precise specifications based on measurements
- Train apprentices and other employees
- Perform layouts and math calculations
- Estimating and selecting materials required to complete a job or task
- Operating various hand and power tools
- Underpin and shore structures or excavations
- Build concrete forms for footings, columns, piers, beams, girders, walls, stairs, and slabs
- Layout and install concrete reinforcement materials
- Construct temporary structures including scaffolding, guards, railings, ladders, barricades, covered walkways, hoarding and rigging installations
- Install interior partitions, ceilings, and millwork

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman: Journeyman Trade Certification and/or equivalent technical diploma
- Apprentice: Carpentry experience, minimum 2-5 years
- CSTS2020 r
- Follow all applicable safety regulations
- Construction knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve arithmetic problems quickly and accurately
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
