**The position**

Reporting to the Forecast and Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planning and Allocation Analyst is responsible for the demand planning and product allocation for Rocky's three sales channels: Retail, eCommerce and Strategic Partnerships. This position also monitors SKU inventory levels in all channels, preventing out of stocks, ensuring display quantities and days on hand targets are met, ultimately contributing to Rocky's sales and profitability goals.

This position works from our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta, or in a hybrid work setting.

**What you'll be doing**

Demand Planning
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast accuracy to drive overall sales growth
- Partner with key departments to understand demand forecast drivers and operationalize the SKU level forecast
- Evaluate sales cannibalization from seasonal newness, pricing strategies and create product margin targets to meet the expected sales targets
- Support the product life cycles with statistical data to help guide the decision making and growth opportunities of key categories and at the SKU level for top performers

Allocations
- Responsible for inventory allocation to the sales channels ensuring the correct inventory levels are at the right place at the right time
- Partner with the Retail and Fulfillment teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained in all channels
- Responsible for reporting on inventory levels to the leadership team with multiple metrics

Systems Expertise
- Administer and optimize Rocky’s Demand Planning and Allocation software solutions including but not limited to: product setup and inactivation, data integrity and accuracy between systems, SKU attributes, replenishment records

**Does this sound like you?**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance is required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role (allocation or planning)
- Demonstrated skills in inventory allocation, analysis and planning are required
- Advanced software knowledge: considered an expert in Excel and other Office Suite software; Netsuite experience would be an asset
- Proven track record of forecasting accuracy
- Results and solutions-orientated, flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment and seeks new opportunities
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate them into actionable insights
- Highly organized and goal-oriented with strong business acumen
- Communicates well in a collaborative cross-functional environment and also works well independently
