**Job Overview**

**Location**: Metanoia Café & Dessert Bar - 110 Marine Parade Drive, Etobicoke
**Schedule**: Part-time or Full-time | Early Morning + Weekend Availability Preferred
**Start Date**: ASAP

Metanoia is a destination café known for its filled croissants, dessert creations, and gourmet pastry line. We are currently seeking a **highly skilled and detail-oriented Baker**with **experience working with laminated croissant dough** to join our pastry team.

**Your Role**:

- Work with **pre-laminated croissant sheets**: shaping, cutting, proofing, baking
- Prepare and assemble both **sweet and savoury fillings** with consistency and elegance
- Follow our **house-developed recipes** and plating standards precisely
- Maintain a high level of **cleanliness, organization, and professionalism**:

- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and head chef to execute daily production and specials
- Manage baking timelines to ensure freshness throughout the day
- Has the ability to work with modern and layouts, designs, and recipes,
- Must be ok working early mornings to ensure all things prepared and fresh prior to opening.
- must be able to process and implement any and all recipes created by the owner

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional **attention to detail** — every croissant should look and taste perfect
- Comfortable with both **sweet and savoury pastry preparation**:

- **must have at least 3-4 years pastry and baking**experience
- Able to **follow chef’s recipes** without deviation, with accurate portioning and consistency
- Comfortable working **early mornings**, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, clean, and committed to maintaining a professional kitchen atmosphere

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Experience**:
