The Style Academy is thrilled to announce that **Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades** is introducing a **designated sub-trade for Barbering** This groundbreaking change allows us to curate a **Barbering Program (750 hours)**—a focused and dynamic alternative to the full 1500-hour Hairstyling program.

We are looking for **passionate and experienced educators** to help deliver this **high-standard program** with a strong focus on **technical excellence, diversity, and innovation** in barbering.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experienced Barbers & Educators** - Individuals with a strong foundation in barbering, including men’s cutting, fades, straight shaves, and beard grooming.
- **Ethnic Hair Specialists** - Experts in diverse hair textures, including Afro, curly, and coarse hair types.
- **Industry Leaders** - Professionals eager to **influence and shape** the next generation of barbers through mentorship and education.
- **Collaborators** - Open to job-sharing opportunities based on areas of expertise (e.g., straight shaves, fades, ethnic hair services).

**Key Responsibilities**:
✂ **Curriculum Development**: Plan, organize, and evaluate a **comprehensive Barbering program** that is inclusive of ethnic hair types and specialized techniques.✂ **Hands-On Training**: Deliver engaging and **practical instruction** while fostering industry excellence.✂ **Program & Kit Development**: Assist in sourcing and managing professional tools and wholesale kits for students.✂ **Industry & Community Engagement**: Collaborate with **salon owners, alumni, business leaders, and government partners** to drive program success and create industry connections.✂ **Innovation & Growth**: Evaluate business opportunities and develop strategies to expand **advanced certification programs** and industry-related services.

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
