**Position Title**:
Labourer - Waste Bag Delivery & Swamper
**Reports To**: Operations Supervisor / Dispatcher
**Class 5 Driver’s License Required**

**Position Summary**

The Labourer is responsible for delivering and setting up construction waste bags using a cube van, assisting drivers of larger bag trucks as a swamper, and performing other labourer duties as required by the company. This role involves physical labour, safe driving, customer interaction, and supporting the operations team in the field.

**Key Responsibilities1. Waste Bag Delivery & Setup**
- Load, transport, and deliver construction waste bags to customer sites using a cube van.
- Set up waste bags in designated locations as per work order instructions.
- Ensure bag placement is safe, accessible, and meets customer requirements.
- Provide basic customer instruction on proper use and filling of waste bags.

**2. Swamper Duties for Large Bag Truck**
- Assist the bag truck driver with deliveries, pickups, and site navigation.
- Guide the driver during maneuvering to ensure safe positioning of the truck.
- Secure and prepare waste bags for loading using cranes or other lifting equipment (driver-operated).
- Help with cleanup of job sites after bag removal.

**3. Vehicle Operation & Maintenance**
- Operate company cube van safely, following all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

**4. Safety & Compliance**
- Follow all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Adhere to customer site safety rules and procedures.
- Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

**5. Communication & Documentation**
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
- Communicate job progress and issues to dispatch or supervisor.
- Submit photos or site notes as required.

**6. Other Labourer Tasks as Needed by the Company**
- Assist with installation or removal of temporary safety walks.
- Perform basic yard labour, cleaning, and equipment organization.
- Help with bin deliveries, pickups, and general site work when required.
- Support other field crews with manual labour tasks as directed by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience driving cube vans or light commercial vehicles preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow directions.
- Positive attitude and professional customer service approach.
