**Job Summary**:
The Budtender position will be reporting to the Store Manager at Northern Tokes. This role will be responsible for starting and growing our customer service experience and working on building the Northern Tokes brand. Additionally, it will be responsible for such duties as customer service, handling of stock, and being knowledgeable of the product.

**Requirements**:
**Customer Service**:

- Ensure a positive customer experience that meets their needs and makes their day.
- Have a sound understanding of cannabis and its variants for assisting customer needs
- Be friendly, upbeat and polite
- Effectively open and close the store as per operating hours
- Greet each customer warmly and verify ID of anyone who appears under 25 years of age
- Process cash, debit and credit transactions on a computerized Point of Sale system
- Develop and utilize in-house cannabis knowledge and self-motivated learning to make product suggestions and fulfill customer needs
- Achieve sales goals and individual targets
- Maintain store appearance to company standard
- Support receiving of inventory, stock replenishment and other tasks as assigned
- Maintain health and safety standards ensuring that hazards are identified and reported to the direct supervisor
- Understand and effectively follow all Government regulations, policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 19 years of age.
- Criminal Background Check.
- Valid Drivers license and either have your own vehicle or have access to one.
- Valid CannSell Ontario Standard Certificate.
- Minimum 1-year experience in retail stores
- Available to work a variety of shifts - weekdays/nights, weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Cash handling: 1 year (required)
- Retail: 1 year (required)
