_**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -**_
- Develop custom programs to produce customer parts as per requirements.
- Responsible for the operation of one or more CNC machines and demonstrates an ability to work on various parts of varying degrees of complexity.
- Ability to adjust programs/reprogram the part to meet specific machines.
- Able to setup, troubleshoot and/or operate one or more machines using vises, fixtures, chokes, etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to set up parts accurately to ensure conformity and cycle time requirements.
- Enhance and follow approved work instructions and drawings provided by management and customer.
- Strive to hit 100% First time through put on setup’s and expedited through the QA department.
- Set tools per tooling set sheets.
- Understand and meet production and quality standards; seek to minimize reject/scrap rate.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Notify appropriate personnel when machine abnormalities occur.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -**_
- OSSD, GED or equivalent
- A minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in precision machining.
- Ability to read drawings.
- Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail and quality
- CNC Mill/Lathe Set-up experience
- Strong knowledge of inspection & measuring equipment
- Shop level knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adhere to continuous improvement manufacturing principles by checking quality of work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
