We are looking for a Personal Support Worker in a Long Term Care Residence provides professional personal care to residents in accordance with required medical care and professional nursing practice.
- PSW Certificate
- Must possess good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills

**The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to**
- **Assisting or providing total personal care such as toileting, bathing, and perineal respects and uses sensitivity in spiritual, cultural and ethnic aspects of resident care**:

**Assisting with ambulation, positioning, and transferring using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer lift**
*
- **Assists with the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of individualized care to meet the resident’s holistic needs and promotes and respects the Resident Bill of Rights**:

- **Computer or paper documentation of Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and other findings.**:

- **Self-actualization by helping patient/resident/client to reach maximum potential.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: Up to $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Waterdown, ON L0R 2H0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
