**MACDONALD HIGH SCHOOL - SUMMER PROGRAM**

**Regional Director: Kathleen O'Reilly**

**Duties of Summer Program Secretary**:

- Prepare class lists, enrollment reports, students’ report cards
- Assist with registration of students
- Maintain a record of receipts, deposits and expenses
- Type letters, reports, orders, etc.
- Maintain a well-organized and up to date filing system
- Handle telephone messages / provide information
- Responsible for daily attendance of students
- Any other related duties, as prescribed

**Required Qualifications**:

- Secondary V with appropriate option or possess a diploma or certificate of studies of equivalence
- Excellent English language skills and a good working knowledge of French
- General Knowledge of High School credits & courses offered & graduation requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Google, GPI and JADE
- Must be courteous and efficient in dealing with the public and staff
- Must be organized
- Flexible Scheduling
- Possibility of additional hours as requested by the summer school principal/coordinator
