**Job Overview**

**CURRENTLY HIRING FOR NORTH BAY TO THUNDER BAY RUN TWICE PER WEEK**

**Duties**
- Operate vehicles for the transportation of freight, ensuring timely delivery to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including basic automotive repair tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment or commercial vehicles.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and freight handling procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling effective maintenance of vehicles.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by company policy.
