Embrace Home Care is looking for personal support workers, developmental support workers, care attendants, and aides to provide support and services for clients in their homes and community assisting with the activities of daily living.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living including skin, hair, and oral care along with bathing, toileting, & peri-care
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
- Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help clients enjoy a better quality of life
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
- Provide transportation services (if applicable) to client's medical appointments, and social events

**What you bring**:

- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate, Equivalent Certification or Experience
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with clients
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Reliability and flexibility
- Passion for making a difference in your community
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from client’s residences within a geographical area
- Must be patient, kind, caring, and committed to providing quality care for clients
- Current Police Check - Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Willingness to work some weekends & flexibility in scheduling at times
- Must have good written and spoken English
- Must be able to follow a care plan accurately
- Must have a Mobile Phone
- Must have a reliable vehicle and independently be able to arrive at shifts
- Embrace Home Care recognizes the importance of immunization to protect our clients and team members from Covid-19. A condition of employment with Embrace Home Care is that all new hires receive all required doses of a Covid 19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.

Part-time hours: 0-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
