Job Title: Point Guard (PM shift)

Grade: 20

Reports to: Divyang Patel (PM Shipping Coach)

Overview:
Responsible for the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to Nike Canada

customers. Has developed specialized skills in a variety of work processes and cross functional activities. Acts as a working team lead by performing job duties, coordinating the work of others. Ensure training and onboarding requirements are met and act as a resource for colleagues.

Core Accountabilities:
Business Expertise and Leadership: Provide support to team in areas of experience. Oversee the day today activities with direction from the Coach (Area Manager). Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Does not have the authority to discipline employees or conduct performance management. The Point Guard role will perform/plan/organize work of the team based on leadership direction. Promote necessary sense of team urgency and accountability to support team to make decisions and achieve results. Ensure team is trained in all processes as well as ensuring that all safety and quality requirements are adhered to.

Delivering Solutions: Identify and provide solutions to moderately complex or infrequently occurring problems by referencing procedures. May be required to gather information to help arrive at an appropriate solution by performing administrative tasks. Required to cooperatively work with

other team members to achieve building metrics. Tasks will be focused on tightly monitoring the following areas:

- Processing all sorted/packed cartons according to their P.O's and shipments.
- Bundling the materials to their shipment requirements for delivery.
- Actively communicating and executing load plans ready for pickup by the carriers.
- Insuring shipping process completion to the BOL document pages signed by the drivers.
- Inform Coach and the other relevant parties of the activities of concern.
- Develop and foster relationships cross functionally within the facility.
- Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions. Aligns with North America team to integrate.
- Align on objectives, adopting and sharing learnings, best practices and training progress.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience - Required to

perform a wide variety of tasks which may include; processing, Selecting, shipping, etc. - Proven ability to work as part of a team - Ability to work cross functionally - Shift Flexibility will be required
