**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and dispatch loads or service calls based on customer needs, driver availability, and geographical considerations.
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure **on-time delivery**, **fuel efficiency**, and **cost-effectiveness**.
- Maintain real-time communication with drivers; manage delays or challenges proactively.
- Liaise with **internal department**to coordinate logistics effectively.
- Monitor GPS tracking and transportation systems (e.g., **GEO TAB**, **THERMOKING**) to oversee fleet operations.
- Ensure compliance with **transportation regulations**, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain and update trip logs, dispatch records, schedules, and incident reports.
- Respond to customer and driver inquiries quickly and professionally.
- Review logistics data continuously to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- **1-2 years** of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or transportation planning.
- Strong working knowledge of **TMS, AFM, AEM**, and dispatch software.
- Familiarity with **GPS tracking systems** (GEO TAB & THERMOKING).
- Excellent **organizational**, **multitasking**, and **problem-solving** abilities.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a **fast-paced** dispatch environment.
- Flexibility for variable shifts when required.
- **High school diploma or GED** is required; a **certificate or degree in logistics/supply chain** is an asset.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of **DOT regulations** and transportation safety compliance.
- **Bilingual abilities** (especially **English/Spanish** or **English/French**) are considered an asset, **but not required**.
