**Pennzoil Oil Change Centre is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager/Lube Tech to join our team in Sudbury We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude who is passionate about customer service. Under the direction of the store manager, that assistant manager will help manage the overall daily operations of the store while actively working on the shop floor providing automotive lubrication services.**

**Assistant Manager duties include, but are not restricted to**:

- Assist with the day-to-day operational and administrative aspects of the shop.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to all customers.
- Actively work on the shop floor completing lubrication services (90%)
- Supervise a team of service technicians and provides technical support when necessary.
- Assist with the recruitment, hiring, mentoring, and training of new employees.
- Assist technicians in developing their skills and competencies.
- Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment.
- Inventory management, including cycle counting and ordering required materials and shop supplies.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
- Work with the owner to promote sales growth and implement short, medium, and long-term goals.
- Promote and maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
- Maintain weekly shop inspections for safety, organization, and cleanliness.

**What you bring**:

- Minimum 2 or more years of hands-on automotive service experience.
- Fast lube experience preferred and is considered an asset.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about customer service.
- Proficiency using computers and learning new programs.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
