**Camp Beer - Kitchen Shift Supervisor**

Langley’s Camp Beer is a local institution known for our great atmosphere, award-winning beer, and up-and-coming food program. We believe that great beer is even better with great food, and we take pride in our innovative sandwiches and snacks menu, which is prepared in a fun, fast-paced kitchen. We're looking for a dedicated leader to join our culinary team immediately.

**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and reliable **Kitchen Shift Supervisor** to oversee our kitchen operations during busy shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of food quality, ensuring efficiency, and leading our kitchen staff. You will work directly with the Head Chef to ensure a smooth and successful service every time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff during service, ensuring all food is prepared to our standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep lists, line checks, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Assist with training new kitchen staff on recipes, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Expedite orders during peak hours to ensure timely and accurate delivery to guests.
- Handle food inventory, stock rotation (FIFO), and minimize waste.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
- A passion for quality food and a dedication to teamwork.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- 2+ years of kitchen experience.
- Food Safe certification is required.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Additional pay:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
