Casual Housekeeper/laundry Attendant

Tibbetts is a licensed, twenty-five bed, Residential Care Facility, providing supervisory care to seniors.

We are currently seeking a Casual Employee to support our Housekeeping department.

The successful applicant must have reliable transportation, and be willing to accept shifts with mínimal notice.

Experience in LTC or motel housekeeping/laundry preferred.

Duties include but are not limited to: laundry, cleaning bathrooms, resident bedrooms and common areas, mopping floors, dusting, receiving supplies, conducting monthly inventory and on-the-spot clean ups including bodily fluids as necessary.

Successful applicants will be self-motivated, organized with excellent time-management skills. The ability to work with mínimal supervision as part of an energetic and dynamic team is mandatory. Must be able to multi-task.

Orientation will be provided.

As part of the Tibbetts team, you will be expected to show compassion and patience toward our seniors, and be willing to be flexible and adaptable to unexpected situations.

Clear Vulnerable Sector check and current First-Aid/CPR-C are mandatory to be considered.

GHS, Fire & Life Safety, Safe Food Handling certification also mandatory but training will be provided if hired.
