The Vendor Performance Specialist is responsible for monitoring vendor performance to ensure that the vendors meet their contractual obligations and provide high-quality products and services to the organization. The role involves analyzing vendor data, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing corrective actions to address performance issues.
**What you will accomplish with us**:
- Monitor vendor performance through regular reviews, metrics analysis, and reporting, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze vendor data to identify trends and performance issues, including quality, delivery, and cost, and develop improvement plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Develop and implement vendor management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that vendor performance meets or exceeds contractual obligations and business requirements.
- Conduct regular vendor assessments to evaluate their capabilities, capacity, and performance, and provide recommendations for corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
- Develop and maintain vendor performance scorecards to track and report vendor performance to internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support vendor management initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.
**What You Bring to Our Team**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in vendor management or supplier performance management in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data and identify performance trends and issues.
- Solid understanding of vendor management best practices, processes, and tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft OƯice Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
