We are seeking a talented and creative Same-Day Wedding Video Editor to join our growing team. As a same-day wedding video editor you will be responsible to edit, and produce a wedding video within the a short span of the wedding day itself. Must have at least 2 years experience in the wedding videography industry and be able to work at a fast pace to ensure that the footage captured during the morning preparations, ceremony and reception is swiftly edited into a beautiful, cohesive video that can be shared with guests by the end of the day.

Duities:

- **Pre-Wedding Planning**: This involves discussing with the videographer about their preferences, the wedding schedule, and any specific moments they want to be edited.
- **Equipment Setup**: The editor is responsible for setting up and testing all necessary video equipment before the event starts.
- **Video Capturing**: Must edit all essential moments of the wedding, from the morning preparations, ceremony to the reception.
- **Fast-Paced Editing**: Given the same-day turnaround requirement, the editor must quickly edit the footage into a cohesive, engaging narrative.
- **Sound Mixing**: They might need to sync music or voiceovers with the video, ensuring the audio quality is excellent.
- **Special Effects**: Depending on the style chosen by the couple, the editor may add special effects, transitions, text overlays, etc.
- **Review and Revision**: Must review the edited video for any errors or improvements before it's shown.
- **Presentation**: Must present the finished video to the couple and their guests, often at the end of the reception.
- **Post-Event Editing**: In some cases, they may do additional editing after the event to create a fuller wedding video or highlight reel.
- **Backup and Storage**: Must also ensure all raw and edited footage is safely stored and backed up.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Must have a G license and own a vehicle
- Own a fast and efficient lap top
