Green Works Contracting is seeking hardworking and detail-oriented **Landscape Maintenance Crew Members** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of residential and commercial properties. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining outdoor spaces, utilizing both hand and power tools. **Schedule & Locations**:

- Meet up/yard locations in Kanata (shrub crews) and Orleans (trim crews).
- Full-time, seasonal position (End of April - November) with potential for year-round employment.
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8 hour shifts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- Conduct garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, dividing, and pruning.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
- Install landscape materials (soil, mulch, river stone, etc.).
- Ensure properties are clean, tidy, and aesthetically maintained.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail. Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid G-class driver’s license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with a strong understanding of gardening practices.
- Ability to build structures using basic construction skills.
- Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like lawnmowers line trimmer and hedge trimmers.
- Capability to dig, plant, irrigate, and maintain gardens effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
