EARN provides services and support to people with disabilities with barriers to employment to seek and pursue their career goals. This is an exciting and challenging role in the Social Services and Employment sector in Northumberland County.

Currently our organization is seeking to fill the following position:

- **EARN JOB COACH contract position** - This full-time 37.5 hours/week contract position is projected to start in late June 2025 and end March 31, 2026

This position provide flexible hours of employment to support to people with barriers to employment and that are pursuing their career goals. This position could include day, evening and weekend work. This role involves job coaching, community job development and other development of supports as they evolve through planning.

Applicants considered will have O.S.S.G.D., Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline with experience working with people with disabilities, and Human Services with emphasis on employment supports and Job Development. A Career & Work Counselor Diploma is preferred. An Employment Specialist Certificate is considered an asset.

Other Requirements: current First Aid / CPR / NVCI/CPI certificates, a valid G license, access to a vehicle, acceptable and current Criminal Reference Check and three year drivers abstract. Verification of COVID-19 vaccination (x2).

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- employment job coaching: 1 year (preferred)
- working with people with disabilities: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- acceptable Criminal/Vulnerable Reference check (preferred)
- CPI/NVCI certification (preferred)
- First Aid / CPR (preferred)
- verification of COVID-19 (X2) (preferred)

Work Location: In person
