**Hours**:Monday to Friday (1300-2100)

**Pay Rate**: $20.00 /hr.

- Oversee the training of all new hires
- Track site required training i.e. first aid, CPR, Use of force
- Track security license expiry
- Schedule off site & on site training
- Creating new
- hire personnel files
- Implement training for new procedures
- Maintain training records (training matrix)
- Ensure all training exercises are adequately documented and that files are maintained

**Strategic objectives**
- Oversee the department’s weekly training schedule through the use of gap analysis. (this can be done with the proper usage of the weekly agenda)
- Utilize performance, staff evaluations and consultation to develop training strategies for each team member.
- Maintain and oversee all department operating procedures including SOP, Crisis manual and emergency response including required updates and adjustments to reflect changes in policy and procedure.
- Contribute to overall morale and motivation of staff through training.

**At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites**:

- Immunization Record
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)

**Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement**:

- First Aid & CPR - Level C
- Management of Aggressive Behavior
- Use of Force
- Report Writing
- Additional courses as assigned

**Upon hire successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses**:

- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Customer Service
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Patrol Procedures
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Diversity Awareness
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Finding The OHS Manual
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Paladin OHS Orientation
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Dealing with People with Mental Illness
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Workplace Respect
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Slips, Trips and Falls
- Additional courses as assigned
