**HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct backfilling operations
- Grade slopes to specified standards
- Undertake mainline trenching tasks
- Execute trench servicing duties
- Engage in bulk excavation activities
- Possess additional skills in backhoe, dozer, and skid steer operations
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections and maintain documentation to ensure reliable and safe operation
- Actively participate in daily and weekly crew meetings

**Minimum Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Heavy Equipment Operation
- Moderate proficiency in interpreting drawings
- Monitor and eliminate all safety risks associated with excavation work
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Results-oriented leadership qualities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

- Fraser Valley Regional District, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
