Apprentice Butcher

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Apprentice Butcher to join our team. As an apprentice, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling various types of meat products in a timely and precise manner.

**Duties**:

- Perform meat cutting and trimming according to specific customer requests
- Package and label meat products for display and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with meat selection and preparation tips
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders and maintain inventory levels

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Butcher or similar role in the food industry a plus
- Basic knowledge of meat cutting techniques and of different cuts of meat
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Certification in food handling is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50 per hour
