**Machine Setup Technician**

**Position**

Looking to gain manufacturing experience? Love a good challenge? Vision Plastics is looking for the right people to join our team. No experience necessary
- on the job training is provided. We require a full-time **Machine Setup Technician **who is responsible for changing molds, processing bottle parameters and making repairs and general maintenance of auxiliary equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and process machines
- Maintain machinery
- Monitor and repair support equipment
- Clean up oil and other hazards and contaminants
- Assist in making quality products
- Three shift rotations: 8 am to 4 pm, 4pm to midnight, midnight to 8am

**Skills and attributes**
- Good knowledge of tools and strong mechanical abilities
- MUST be able to work in a warm environment
- Physically fit (able lift 60 pounds and work in tight areas.)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize your tasks
- Forklift certificate training provided
- Level 1 First Aid provided
- Excellent communication skills
- Grade 12 or GED
- Experience in manufacturing would be an asset.
