**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
We are looking for a driven individual that can strive to bring creative solutions that challenge existing practices—always striving for improvement in everything we do.
As a Content Specialist Intern, you will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage the content creation and publishing process, and improve and develop other internal processes. To ensure success as a Content Specialist Intern, you should have a keen eye for detail, be highly creative, and possess independent/team problem solving skills.
**KEY SUCCESS FACTORS**:
**YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAM**:
You will be reporting to the Head of Copywriting who is based in Toronto and will work among a growing team of Keyword Researchers, Copywriters, Content Specialists, and more.
The Content Specialist Intern will join the Copywriting Department and will collaborate closely with members within and outside of the department.
**All collaborations will take place to ensure the successful completion of the responsibilities listed below**:
- Exercise strong command of English language across all copies.
- Write and proofread Amazon and Walmart product descriptions.
- Maintain high standards of content and exercise quality control on all copies.
- Oversee the translation and localization of content for international E-commerce marketplaces.
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and quotas are met.
- Fact-check and verify product/brand details.
- Revise content and pivot as needed to meet client needs.
- Contribute new ideas for brand growth and development.
- Use effective keywords and SEO strategies to assume sales and results.
- Adapt to changing workload demands and urgent deadlines while maintaining copywriting excellence.
- Collaborate with Team Leads/Head of Copywriting to create training materials and SOPs.
- Plan, propose, lead, and execute projects to improve overall operations.
- Assist with training, event planning, reporting, and other ad hoc tasks to fulfill business needs.
**BASIC REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English language: grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work well in collaboration with a team.
- Strong organizational and proofreading skills.
- A highly creative and imaginative mindset to translate clients’ marketing and sales objectives into creative ideas and copy.
- Solid research, writing, problem solving, and communication skills.
- A self-starter with a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm.
**NOT REQUIRED, BUT WOULD BE A GREAT ASSET**:
- 1 year of experience in content creation, copywriting, proofreading, and brand growth.
